This is an informational website operated by chri. It has no accounts, payment processing, contact forms, advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The sample field notes are fictional; this website does not collect field observations, photos or location data.
Your display preference
If you change the colour theme, your browser stores “light” or “dark” locally under “chri-theme”. This preference is not sent to us and remains until you clear this site's browser data. We do not set tracking cookies.
Language is selected from your browser preferences. You can choose English, Spanish or Automatic. A manual choice is stored only on this device as “chri-language”; choosing Automatic removes it. Translation runs locally, without sending text or your language preferences to a translation service. Other languages fall back to English.
Hosting
The website is intended to be hosted on Netlify. When you visit, the hosting provider processes connection information such as your IP address, requested address and browser information to deliver and protect the site. Provider logging and retention depend on its policies and the hosting account configuration. See Netlify's privacy policy.
If you contact us
Email links open your own email application. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. If you email hello@chri.cloud, your address, message and any attachments are processed by email providers and received by us to handle your enquiry. Please share only what is needed; do not send passwords, payment details, medical information, sensitive images or confidential field data.
Contact hello@chri.cloud with privacy questions or requests about messages you have sent, including deletion requests. Applicable legal requirements and email-provider backups may affect deletion.
Future changes
This notice will need updating before introducing accounts, forms, purchases or analytics. Any required information and consent controls must be in place before those tools are enabled.
